           Chiang Rai, one of the most interesting border cities in Thailand, has long been known as, " The Golden Triangle, " because trading remarkably prospered in this area with gold as the means of exchange. Today Chiang Rai is even more fasinating as it has become a melting pot of people from neighboring countries including Myanmar, Laos and China as well as different hill tribes living together peacefully.
